Bipartisan is one of the ugliest words in the English lexicon. It has come to mean compromise, but exploring the real meaning offers an alarming definition.
Wow, not so scary. Something that is supported by two groups, particularly two political parties. "Nothing to see here folks, move right al . . ." Hold on, there's more. What does partisan mean?
On the face of things this doesn't really raise any alarms either, but it does if two mortal enemies align. There are those that do not view the D's and R's as one of the Two Evils that we so often choose between and here we will ignore them. It is usually the lesser depending upon how you look at it, but it is always some trade off that always ends up being an infringement upon our rights.
All Bipartisan means is that two mortal enemies who are constantly fighting for control over our lives have aligned themselves so that neither loses ground to the other. It is an impasse that more than likely secures more control over the people and the Party in control of course benefits the most.
